Three great days in Leiden We had a lovely stay in the city. Monique is a very good and helpful host. The area is quiet, the room is large and the bed is comfortable. My only issue is that the windows face the canal (great view) and the street lamps. I am a light sleeper and the curtains and shades do not block the light out completely. (Thicker curtains could do the trick!) Other than than a wonderful place to stay in.![Tripadvisor]()

Lovely b&b in Leiden The only regret is that we didn’t stay longer in this beautiful and comfortable B&B. The host was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Rooms were well equipped and clean. Definitely a place to stay for at least a few nights.![Tripadvisor]()

Good for solo traveler I am a solo traveler way over 60. I found Monique and her son to be very helpful even before my stay. Monique went out of her way to fulfill an inquiry and got me in touch with the right people. It is a walking distance from the train station but leaves you in a quieter part of Leiden. Well worth the walk. Although I had to wait for my room, my hosts gave me an ice cold beer while I waited at the patio table overlooking the canal. The room was huge and comfortable. Super! Visited Monique's B&B with my 2 daughters. Great location. 15 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes walk to the center. Supermarket DIRK is approximately 500m away. The B&B is clean, has a fantastic bathroom and great internet. We found the beds very soft, but that is personal! Had a great 3 days!![Tripadvisor]()

Chic The apartment is really chic, very bright and right in the center of Leiden. It is located in an old house and has been renovated in a very modern way. The hostess is very helpful and looks after her guests. You can walk to the beautiful center of Leiden in just a few minutes![Tripadvisor]()

Pleasant stay at Leiden We had a beautyful room upstairs with a great view. It was quiet, clean and a pleasant atmosphere. With a short walk you are in the centre of Leiden. The hostess is very kind and surprised is with drinks and some snacks when we arrived. Thanks; we will certainly come back!![Tripadvisor]()

Prima verblijf Het appartement was zeer ruim, modern met nieuwe en prima voorzieningen. Alleen de trap naar de verdieping is enigszins uitkijken. Maar als je daar op let is het geen probleem. Goede prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding.![Tripadvisor]()

Excellent stay Quaint B&b in the heart of Leiden. The room was spacious and tidy, comfortable bed. Beautiful view from the room. The owner was very discreet and helpful at the same time. I found my stay very relaxing.![Tripadvisor]()

Leiden Festival & local friends Lovely stay. Great location and lovely clean room. Some lovely little touches such as complimentary nuts and crisps as well as a local beer too. The owner was very helpful and incredibly understanding even when I accidentally let a local cat into the property! Will be staying again for sure.![Tripadvisor]()

Not bothered about customer experience We had to cancel our visit to the Netherlands because we couldn't fly out due to Covid restrictions. We contacted this b&b asking if perhaps they could change the date of our booking to a date in future, the answer was very 'computer says no'. I understand they're a small business, so the pandemic must be terrible for them. I wasn't expecting everything for nothing, but just a friendly response to my email would have been a start! Other establishments we had booked (a fabulous place in Gouda called Goudse Watertoren) were amazing, they showed understanding and empathy. And on top of that suggested we could come another time without charge. That really helped us when we were so upset about not being able to come. The holiday cottage we booked has also accepted a new booking without extra charge. There are some fantastic places to stay in Leiden, (last time we stayed in Huys van Leyden, which was lovely) so I suggest staying there instead of this place. I assume that if they're unable to manage a decent reply to a customer in distress, they're unlikely to manage to accommodate an enjoyable stay.Meer laden
